PRAISE FROM DISNEY IS THE ICING ON THE CAKE FOR CREATIVE BAKER LARA
A TALENTED Midland baker has won plaudits from Disney after she created a life-size cake of Stitch to celebrate the release of the latest film.
Walsall mum-of-two Lara Mason, 39, made the large 3ft 'interactive' cake after seeing the excitement around the Lilo & Stitch movie trailer.
The 16kg bake took her a mammoth 30 hours to complete over five days - and it even features an intricate working water gun.
Full-time baker Lara used 11 layers of toffee cake, filled with buttercream and coated in a chocolate ganache, to construct the huge Stitch at home with her husband Nick.
