MAN STOPPED AFTER HE WAS SPOTTED DUMPING NITROUS GAS CANNISTER
A PASSENGER spotted chucking laughing gas from a car window left police officers stunned when he made an unexpected confession.
Uzair Mohammed was stopped by police after he threw a cannister of nitrous oxide from a car.
Another cannister of nitrous oxide and a balloon - a common way of inhaling the drug - were then spotted in the Vauxhall Astra.
As he got out of the car to be searched by police, Mohammed made an admission so “startling” that even the officers were unsure it was true.
The 25-year-old calmly confessed to officers that he had a gun in his man bag.
But he insisted he found the firearm “by chance”.
