Brewery owner's despair over area’s chronic litter problem

THE owner of a Birmingham brewery criticised the area's ‘embarrassing’ litter problem and claimed people ‘simply don't care’.

Burning Soul Brewery, in Hockley, is a pride of joy in the craft beer world with exotic flavours and favourites to discover.
But once you leave the brewery and taproom on Mott Street, the area is a different story.
Nappies, laughing gas canisters, rotting meat and a zombie knife are among the range of items dumped in the B19 neighbourhood.
Head brewer Chris Small said he had to ‘apologise’ to customers because of the never-ending issue.
