Town a game away from promotion

Bradford Town had to hold their nerve on penalties on Tuesday to book their place in Saturday’s Division One play-off final.
-
The Bobcats faced Devizes Town and played out a 1-1 draw in a gripping contest, before Bradford managed to win the crucial shoot-out 4-3. They will now face Calne Town for a place in the Premier Division after Calne edged past Wells City by a single goal in an equally tough affair.
Bradford were rocked by Devizes’ early opener after just six minutes, but the visitors responded well as Callum Demkiv fired wide. The remainder of the half proved very tight, with Bradford’s only chances really coming from set-pieces.
After Sammy Jordan’s header was saved ten minutes into the second period, it was Dan Demkiv who levelled the scores on 57 minutes with a lobbed effort from Jordan Pinder's free-kick which had been punched away.
