Families are invited to step into the past, get creative, and explore the world of art and archaeology this May half-term at two of Bath's cultural attractions The Roman Baths and Victoria Art Gallery.

At the Roman Baths

This half-term, journey back to Roman Britain with interactive trails, crafty workshops, and the chance to meet characters from the past.

Highlights include:

Archaeology Adventures

May 27-30

Budding archaeologists can dig for replica Roman artefacts in a specially designed excavation trench.

This hands-on activity takes place in the Investigation Zone, giving young explorers the chance to uncover the secrets of Roman life.

Tickets £6 per child (plus standard entry to The Roman Baths); pre-booking highly recommended.

Meet the Romans

Encounter costumed characters and learn what life was like for the people of Aquae Sulis.
