Zoo clarifies welfare of 'Moo Deng'

Online debate leads to expansion plan
Khao Kheow Open Zoo has issued a statement addressing concerns over the living conditions of viral baby pygmy hippo “Moo Deng” while announcing plans for a habitat expansion.
The zoo was responding to widespread online debate about Moo Deng’s enclosure following a post by social media personality and marine conservation advocate Siranudh Scott, also known as “Psi”.
