Thai initiatives ‘making good progress'

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is optimistic that the initiatives proposed by Thailand through Asean will be ready for implementation next year, according to Bolbongse Vangphaen, director-general of the Asean Affairs Department.
Speaking at a seminar titled "Asean Cooperation: the Conclusion of Asean 2025 and How It Responds to People's Needs", Mr Bolbongse outlined the progress of two Thai initiatives, namely the Digital Economy Framework Agreement (DEFA) and the Asean Centre for Public Health Emergencies and Emerging Diseases (ACPHEED).
