Sherman in good spot as fading light halts China Open play
Bangkok Post

>>SHANGHAI: Thailand's Sherman San- tiwiwatthanaphong fought gallantly to a second round of one-under 71 on a tough Saturday at the Women's China Open and will enter the final round just one stroke behind club- house co-leaders, Wang Zixuan and Pang Runzhi of China.

The experienced Sherman, who is ranked No.2 on the CLPG Order of Merit, birdied her closing hole to stay within striking range for a second career win in the flagship tournament in China.
"It's a really tough day and my tee shots were not good, only hit like three or four fairways. It was good that I managed to shoot under-par," said the 28-year-old former LPGA Tour player.
"I like to play with the wind, I think it's fun. There was one hole where I aimed towards the water as the wind was blowing hard from right to left. Tomorrow, I just want to have fun. I'll try to commit to every single shot. If I'm not committed, I won't hit it," added Sherman.
