PP urges Pheu Thai to let bygones go

More unity with opposition called for
The People’s Party (PP) has urged the Pheu Thai Party to set aside any grudges it may harbour and work together with the opposition bloc, while dismissing calls for its party leader to resign as leader of the opposition.
In response to questions about Pheu Thai using the upcoming policy statement debate to attack the PP, deputy PP leader Pakornwut Udompipatskul said the opposition parties should not waste parliament's time by attacking each other.
He said the PP is preparing for the debate, which is expected to take place next week, with almost 20 MPs lined up to speak. Ministerial qualifications and urgent tasks over the next four months are among the issues to be addressed.
