Pheu Thai seeks lessons from poll loss

The Pheu Thai Party held its first meeting after the Feb 8 election yesterday to draw lessons from both the winning and losing candidates, as well as to discuss issues related to the transparency of the poll.
Pheu Thai secretary-general Prasert Chantraruangthong said there have been complaints filed in many areas concerning the transparency of the poll. He said the party’s legal team will take a look into the matter before taking any action.
He also advised election candidates to submit the conclusions of their campaigns and the reasons for their victories or losses.
The party would like to hear from them in order to prepare for the next election. Thoughts from local voters should be consolidated to help the party identify the factors that contribute to success.
