New cabinet awaits royal nod

PM eyes economic and border plans
The official list of cabinet members has been submitted to His Majesty the King for final approval, according to Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul.
Speaking to reporters as he departed the secretariat of the cabinet, Mr Anutin yesterday nodded in confirmation when asked about the submission, while adding, "The cabinet list will be presented to His Majesty today."
Following this, the prime minister proceeded to the Bangkok City Pillar Shrine to pay respect, accompanied by a large contingent of media.
The Bhumjaithai Party, which leads the incoming government, has reiterated its commitment to advancing key economic and social policies.
Among the flagship initiatives under the new administration is the continuation and expansion of the Khon La Krueng (Half-Half) co-payment subsidy scheme, a popular economic relief measure.
