NACC calls for rules on EV chargers

The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) is calling on government agencies to stop civil servants from using electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at government offices to charge their private cars, in a bid to prevent the abuse of state resources.
According to deputy government spokesman, Anukool Pruksanusak, the cabinet has acknowledged the NACC’s recommendation, which the agency issued after receiving reports about officials using EV charging stations at government offices — which are meant for state vehicles only — to power up their private cars for free.
