Ministry to finalise rice deal with China in Nov

Commerce Minister Suphajee Sutham-phan will visit China in November to finalise a government-to-government (G-to-G) rice purchase agreement and push for further cooperation on agricultural products.
Suphajee: 'Significant' market for Thai goods
Ms Suphajee was delivering a keynote speech at the Thailand-China Cooperation Expo 2025, an event marking 50 years of diplomatic relations between the two nations, at Impact Arena in Muang Thong Thani in Nonthaburi on Saturday night.
Key attendees included Privy Councillor Gen Paiboon Koomchaya, Chinese Ambassador Zhang Jiangwei, Labour Minister Trinuch Thienthong, Chamber of Commerce Chairman Poj Aramwattananont, Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce president Narongsak Puttapornmongkol and Chinese Enterprises Association chairman Liu Quanlei.
