According to Sittiwit Tangthanakiat, board chairman of Tangthanasin Co Ltd, the operator of the Easy Money pawn shop chain, the company recently signed loan agreements with several financial institutions, including for a syndicated loan, and will require a higher level of credit this year than in 2025.
Easy Money secured loan facilities worth 3 billion baht from Siam Commercial Bank, in addition to credit lines from other banks. The company declined to disclose the total approved loan amount to be used this year.
Mr Sittiwit said the funds will be used mainly for business expansion, including loan growth, branch network expansion and investment in digital technology.
Easy Money set a loan growth target for 2026 of around 30% year-on-year, driven by rising demand from both individual customers and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
"Easy Money serves as an alternative funding source for SMEs and small entrepreneurs who have limited access to bank loans," he said.
