Commerce chief preps quick win efforts on many fronts

The new commerce minister is ready to implement “quick win” measures that address border trade, living costs, agriculture prices and international trade.

Taking office yesterday, Commerce Minister Suphajee Suthumpun said the ministry's urgent tasks align with government policy aimed at delivering tangible results in the short term and establishing the foundations for long-term national development.
She said details of the quick win measures will be disclosed after the government presents its policy statement to parliament.
