Case file on accused doctor goes to OAG

The Narcotics Suppression Bureau (NSB) yesterday submitted the case file on Pol Col Dr Anchulee Theerawongpaisan, a senior psychiatrist at the Police General Hospital (PGH), and 11 associates to the Office of the Attorney General (OAG).
The submission was made on the final day of her 84-day detention period, following her arrest for the illegal distribution of prescription drugs.
Dr Anchulee and her associates face charges of conspiracy and collaboration in distributing flunitrazepam, a Category 2 controlled substance, along with the illegal acquisition and use of regulated prescription drugs. These include sleeping pills, anti-anxiety medications, and other psychoactive substances.
