Centre fetes new surgery milestone
Naresuan University’s Faculty of Medicine has unveiled Thailand’s first patient-specific 3D-printed titanium technology to treat cleft lip and palate, marking a major milestone in reconstructive surgery.
The announcement was made at the Centre for Facial Development, Faculty of Medicine, on Wednesday in the presence of deputy governor Nisit Sawasdithep, Provincial Red Cross Chairwoman Waraporn Sermpakdeekun, and representatives from the private sector and local government.
