Arrest made after guard killed in Bangkok Port heist

Police have arrested a man in connection with a robbery at a Customs Department warehouse that resulted in the death of a security guard, while arrest warrants are being sought for six more people, Pol Maj Gen Witawat Chinnakhom, commissioner of Metropolitan Police Division 5, said yesterday.
The robbery took place around 1am on Sunday at a warehouse in the Port Authority of Thailand compound in Bangkok's Klong Toey district.
According to police, the thieves broke into the facility, forced the locks on five storage containers, and stole a range of confiscated goods, including a large quantity of e-cigarettes.
