AI remains dominant factor in 2026

XSpring Asset Management (XSpring AM) sees artificial intelligence (AI) as the dominant investment theme in 2026, continuing to reshape global equity markets and drive long-term capital flows across regions and sectors.
AI is becoming a full investment ecosystem, influencing energy, manufacturing and national economic strategies, says Mr Yodsakorn.
While global equities remain attractive in selective markets, the firm highlights clear regional divergence, with the US, Japan, South Korea and Australia positioning for further growth. Vietnam, China and Thailand, meanwhile, face sustained structural headwinds.
According to XSpring AM chief executive Yodsakorn Follett, the Al economy will remain the core engine of global market performance, extending beyond software and semiconductors to include data centres, robotics and nuclear energy, which could become increasingly critical for large-scale computing infrastructure.
“Alis no longer a single-sector story. Itis becoming a full investment ecosystem, influencing energy, manufacturing and national economic strategies,’ he said.
