13 scam suspects face court

The Crime Suppression Division (CSD) brought 13 foreign nationals suspected of running a scam call centre targeting Australian citizens to the Criminal Court for detention yesterday.
The suspects were charged with operating an illegal criminal network, working without proper permits, and violating immigration laws.
The group allegedly used a base in Samut Prakan as their operation centre, deceiving at least 14 Australian victims, with losses estimated at 40 million baht.
