Man seriously injured in van collision as witnesses sought

A pedestrian was left with “serious injuries” following a crash involving a van in Ayr.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Beresford Terrace at the junction with Parkhouse Street following the incident at around 7.30pm on Wednesday, May 14.
A 46-year-old man, the pedestrian, was taken to hospital for treatment where his injuries were described as “serious” as a result of the crash which involved a white Vauxhall Vivaro.
