It's time for Wilson to exit 'Nock
Ayrshire Post
|June 11, 2025
Jamie Wilson has bade farewell to Cumnock and left the club big shoes to fill at Townhead Park.
The midfield lynchpin has been a key player since signing in 2021 and led them to a Scottish Junior Cup triumph two years later.
It was his third medal having also won the cup with Beith and Hurlford.
Wilson, 35, skippered 'Nock to seventh place in last season's Premier Division and departs with his name etched in the club's history.
Another long server departing is goalie and coach Adam Strain who made 122 squad appearances since signing in season 21/22 and was involved in the Scottish Cup winning side.
Four others have also left the club - Stefan McCluskey, Creag Little, Josh Jack and Joe McKee.
Returning to their parent clubs are loan players Jamie Hislop (Ayr United) and Duncan Barlow and Sam Duruh (both Kilmarnock).
