The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) is encouraging aspiring photographers and nature enthusiasts to capture a winning shots of nature for an opportunity to gain exclusive access to their favourite protected area.
This is part of a special campaign by SANBI to celebrate global Nature Photography Day, marked on Sunday, June 15.
This day is celebrated annually to encourage nature lovers and photographers to capture and celebrate the natural world.
SANBI operates the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden in Cape Town.
