Minor Injury Units here to help

NHS Lanarkshire’s Minor Injury Units are open for non life-threatening injuries between 9am and 9pm every day.

People in Monklands are encouraged to phone 111 before attending a Minor Injury Unit.

Those who do will be given priority over those who walk-in - resulting in quicker treatment.

Dr Gordon McNeish, NHS Lanarkshire associate medical director for unscheduled care, said: "Our Minor Injury Units provide expert care for a range of minor injuries, including sprains, cuts, minor burns and simple fractures.
