Drumpellier beat Kelburne by six runs in the Western Premiership One on Saturday.

The Langloan side won the toss and elected to bat, and on a dry pitch the score should have been high.

However, they struggled to 39-3, and lost Gordon Shaw, Jordan Pryde and Shehroz Mehmood, and then the reliable Chathuranga Kumara, leaving them on 51-4.

A 56-partnership formed between Supeshala Jayathilake and Christopher Keltie, before the former was out for 39.

They then lost William Leslie and Keltie at 119-7.

The tail then wagged with stubborn resistance, but that came to an end, and Drumpellier were all-out for 141 in the 42nd over.
