The desire to reach foreign shores is driving some desperate applicants to dangerous lengths.
Two shocking cases of passport tampering have surfaced at the Regional Passport Office (RPO) over the past 10 days.
The applicants were caught red-handed tampering with passports and crucial documents like Aadhaar cards to obtain new passports. Officials have already informed the police, and an investigation is now under way.
