AMC issues directive to curb pollution, health hazards
The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has issued a directive for relocation of Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) plants, currently operating within residential areas, to curb pollution.
The decision was taken during the Standing Committee meeting held on Thursday.
There are more than 50 RMC plants in the city, many of which are in close vicinity to residential areas.
