First case of mule accounts being operated from Kathmandu; five held, 31 cyber fraud cases across India linked to the racket
The Cyber Centre of Excellence (CCEO) unearthed an interstate and international mule bank account syndicate with links to Nepal and arrested five people.
The investigation began after a Surat resident was allegedly duped of Rs 2.30 crore in a sophisticated online investment scam.
