Sensex jumps 329 pts as signs of progress in India-US deal boost investor sentiment

Rising for the second straight day, Sensex rose by 329 points to close at 82,501 on Friday following strong gains in pharmaceutical and banking shares and foreign fund inflows. The Nifty advanced by 104 points to settle at 25,285.
