Auto sales down, all eyes on Rath Yatra

It being an auspicious occasion, the sector is expecting sales to pick up in this month
The automobile sector has seen a negative growth of around 2% in Gujarat, against national average which has grown over 5% in the last one year.
In May 2024, there more than 21.5 lakh vehicles sold in India whereas in May 2025 more than 22.12 lakh vehicles were sold, showing a growth of around 1.7 lakh vehicles, including all categories like two, three and four wheelers, construction vehicles and tractors.
