Audit objections pending disposal in AMC rise to 23k in last 5 fiscals

The AMC's Audit Department is once again facing criticism for the substantial backlog in resolving the audit objections.
According to official data, only 4,556 out of 27,986 audit objections raised between 2020-21 and 2024-25 have been resolved, a disposal rate of just 17%. As a result, a total of 23,430 objections remain pending.
