Madagascar Citizen Underwent Surgeries for Both Her Knees and Hip Without Any Blood Transfusion
Fransia, 79, a resident of Marovoay in Madagascar, is all set to walk tall after a triple joint replacement surgery, a challenging feat for someone of her age. Immobilised and distressed by severe pain in both hips and knees for the past four years, she was recently operated on at a city hospital. Interestingly, despite her comorbidities, the surgery happened without any blood transfusion.
