Major blow as Farrell set to miss Argentina

CAPTAIN Owen Farrell could miss England’s World Cup opener against Argentina after being sent off in the warmup win over Wales at Twickenham yesterday.
Despite Farrell’s red, England coach Steve Borthwick was delighted with his team as a thrilling second half fightback saw them win 19-17 to avenge last week’s defeat in Cardiff.
He said: “I have to compliment the team spirit and character that the team showed. I thought Wales played really well. We knew it was going to be an arm wrestle as Wales are always hard to beat. Ultimately we came out on top through a lot of character. Regarding Owen, we’ll wait and see what happens.
