After Jersey, Biljon offered a chance at Rotherham

HAVING had his world turned upside down due to Jersey Reds’ suspension from the Championship, Harvey Biljon has since teamed up with Rotherham Titans in a short-term consultancy role with an aim of helping the club return to the higher leagues
Director of rugby at Jersey for 10 years, Biljon endured the unthinkable when his side went into administration earlier this month after the island’s States Assembly voted against funding the Championship club for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.
Last year’s Championship winners are set to be liquidated and with Biljon without employment, he’s since teamed up with National Two North side Rotherham, who replaced their former head coach Gary Pearce this week with new boss Gareth Lewis.
Biljon told The Rugby Paper: “I still haven’t got my head around what’s happened at Jersey to be honest but I can’t just sit and sulk, I had to find something else.
