SILLS HITS NEW HEIGHTS WITH SOARING MAGPIES
The Non-League Football Paper
|August 04, 2024
TIM Sills reckons his Wimborne Town champions have the quality to establish themselves in Southern Premier South – even against ever more powerful rivals.

The 44-year-old former Aldershot Town and Torquay United striker led the Magpies to the Division One South title last term, bringing them back to Step 3 after two years away.
Sills is relishing the chance to test himself at the higher level as he progresses his managerial career, but also aware of the size of the task ahead as the Dorset side – who kick off at home against Hanwell Town on Saturday – bid to consolidate.
“That will be the ultimate goal and we want to enjoy it by playing well and giving a good account of ourselves,” he told The NLP. “We will reevaluate if we do that.
“I’m really pleased with the squad we have put together and the way they have looked physically and mentally in pre-season.
“We are in a good place and buzzing to be in this division, though when you watch other clubs’ recruitment, the challenge gets bigger and bigger.
