MACAULAY Langstaff is just one goal from setting a new National League goalscoring record – but the Notts County star says he’s already bagged the one that matters to him most.
The 26-year-old fired his 40th league goal – none of them penalties – of an incredible season in the Magpies’ 2-0 win over Altrincham on Tuesday night.
It set a new club record surpassing Tom Keetley’s landmark that has stood for 92 years, and takes him level with Ricky Miller’s National League record of 40 he scored for Dover Athletic in 2016-17.
