CUP KINGS AIM TO DO IT AGAIN

JAMIE MCCLURG says Bracknell Town’s penchant for a big cup occasion will count for nothing when they take on rivals Truro City at Bottom Meadow tomorrow.
The Robins have enjoyed one of the most memorable seasons in their history after reaching the fifth round of the FA Trophy and the first round proper of the FA Cup, where they entertained Ipswich Town in front of the ITV cameras.
And they have relished they first season back at Step 3, where they staged a strong late rally in their pursuit of leaders Weston-super-Mare, only to finish three points behind the Seagulls with a massive 90-point haul.
Standing in the way of the Robins and a first-ever venture into Step 2, however, are a Truro City side who jostled with the leaders for top spot for much of the season, but who also recorded a league double over the Berkshire club with both victories, home and away, coming in the last six weeks.
