FC Romania are saved from the brink
FC ROMANIA chief Ion Vintila says this week has heralded nothing short of a miracle after the club were saved from the brink of collapse.
The Spartan South Midlands Premier Division club were just hours away from folding on Monday with desperate pleas for a saviour appearing to have fallen on deaf ears.
Appeals for funding had gone into overdrive over the past weeks, but with time running out to register for the new campaign, Vintila feared his beloved club had reached an end point.
The sight of an ominous looking “Club Statement” appearing on the Hertfordshire side’s website left fans fearing the worse – but this time it brought some welcome news.
