Fierce leadership and strategic planning forges GCPL to greater international and domestic market expansion

Women Torchbearers of Viksit Bharat - Unlocking International Markets for Godrej

W ell-known as the woman who bought the popular Kamasutra and Park Avenue deodorant and sexual wellness brands from Raymonds into her company's folds, Nisaba Godrej has further strengthened Godrej's position in the market as a comprehensive FMCG company from India with a global footprint.

With the deodorant market segment growing rapidly at the rate of 10% CAGR per year, this acquisition deal of a stupendous Rs2,825 crore in 2023 from Raymond Consumer Care (RCC) to Godrej Consumer Products (GCPL) is reaping in the profits.

For the past two decades, Nisaba Godrej, as the Executive Chairperson of the company has been the fountainhead of strategic and sustainable growth of one of India's most trusted consumer brand names. Once a portfolio of brands that underperformed, Nisaba has always focused on turning this setback into a win. In 2024, GCP was firmly put back on track with a year-on-year growth of 5.9%, and revenue in December 2024 was Rs. 141.5 billion.
