H.E. Mr. David Emmanuel Puig Buchel: Working in India has been an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling experience. The warmth of the people has made my time here truly memorable. My journey in India began in 2006 when I served as a Councillor and participated in the process of opening our Embassy in New Delhi. From the moment I set foot in this country, I was captivated by its rich history, cultural diversity, thriving intellectual community, and its unique ability to harmonize tradition with modernity. India’s dynamic growth has been nothing short of impressive, and it has been an absolute privilege to witness it first-hand. The country is in a constant state of transformation, offering countless opportunities. I came back to India in February 2021, to serve this time as Ambassador. Since my arrival, I have been actively working to identify and develop cooperation between India and the Dominican Republic in the political, economic, educational, scientific, and cultural fields.
