From Delhi Watch Company’s viral watch to a special tribute, we take a look at what watch releases from Indian brands looked like recently
AZHAGU
Delhi Watch Company collaborated with the Kerala-based collector group TimeGrapher to unveil Tithi, a tribute to South Indian scripts. A Sanskrit term that refers to the lunar day calculated by the moon’s 12-degree shift relative to the sun, ‘Tithi’ features a moonphase at 6 o'clock, with numerals offered in Tamil (in yellow and green dial models) and Malayalam (in salmon and sky-blue dial models). The 39 mm watch is crafted in 316L stainless steel, with the dial featuring a hydraulic-pressed texture. It is powered by the Miyota 6P24 quartz movement, and its steel caseback features the Delhi Watch Company and TimeGrapher logos. It is paired with a suede strap.
