The actor reflects on his long career in Granite City panto
-
How did you get into panto?
When I left drama college in 1991, my agent simply put me up for a role in Peter Pan at Eden Court Theatre, Inverness. I got the job and I've been lucky enough to do panto every year since.
What's your favourite thing about doing panto in Aberdeen?
The relationship I have with the audience. There's a definite bond that has built up over the years, and I’m so fortunate that they seem to have accepted the West Coast Weedgie as honorary Aberdonian, which is a privilege and honour. I feel like I know them both collectively and individually and we go on an incredible journey together.
Does the panto or Christmas get dull for you?
