With many years of experience working within the mental health sector, Keith Donnelly has seen it all. As a nurse, he has helped people in some of their darkest moments. But for the longest time, Keith felt like something was missing from the care being given — so he set about fixing it.

“We'd look after patients to the best of our ability, but one thing was always lacking. They'd present to hospital with just the clothes on their back,” Keith tells New Idea.

“They may not have had any friends or family who are able to drop off a bag of clothes. So, was the only option that we could give [them] a white hospital gown?”
