■ 175g butter, softened
■ ¾ cup caster sugar
■ 2 tsp vanilla extract
■ 3 eggs
■ 1¼ cups self-raising flour
■ ¼ cup custard powder
■ ½ cup milk
■ Custard, to serve
TOPPING
■ 75g butter, melted
■ ½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
■ 2 tbsp golden syrup
■ 425g can mango slices in syrup, drained, cut into 5mm thick slices
