Rebecca Gibney has made a shock confession about her mental health in a social media post.

The star shared that the panic attacks and anxiety that she had previously suffered from had returned earlier this year.

"My optimistic bubble burst," she wrote in the candid post. "Suddenly the panic returned, the stress, the sadness - and I found myself back in the pit of self-doubt, fear and anxiety."
