Your hands have been everywhere no pun intended. Picking up food, typing and doom scrolling all day on your phones, lifting weights at the gym, among many other scenarios. Rough, scaly skin on your hands, unkempt fingernails (ew) can not only be unhealthy for you but also for those who have to witness that sight. Luckily, these unnecessarily gendered hygiene ideas like getting a manicure are finally losing their stereotypes, and more men are understanding the need for grooming their hands.

Madhuri Agarwal, founder of Yavana Aesthetic Clinic, feels that following a basic grooming routine for your hands is essential. "Use hand washes instead of soaps as that will be less dehydrating for the hands. Secondly, choose a thick moisturising cream for the night, and a lighter lotion for daytime. Try to apply the moisturiser at least 3-4 times a day and massage it into the nails too."
