Having travelled extensively across Japan and adopted its buzzing capital as his second home, Chef David Myers aka The Gypsy Chef is super proud of completing one entire year at ADRIFT Kaya. The restaurant is a decade-long love affair between him and the awe-inspiring city of Tokyo.

According to him, there are 4 key areas which make a restaurant a success- service, cuisine, beverage, and design. "We hire people that are obsessed about the experience in these areas, right from our chef to our general manager", explains David, "The menu is thoughtfully designed and we keep tweaking and tasting our dishes. We serve a specially curated cocktail list by Jimmy Barrat, an iconic creator and trendsetter in the global bar. For design, it is one of the few restaurants designed by Timothy Oulton Studio where we have even brought his furniture. When all these elements integrate together, magic happens!"
