Working in the bustling city of Cape Town, sisters Alison Snyders and Karen Lipari are revered flower connoisseurs with 35 years of experience creating masterful flower arrangements.
Carrying on the legacy of their grandmother, who set it up in the 70s, the Sisters on Adderley flower stall is a fundamental part of the Trafalgar Square flower market history on Adderley Street.
The lively energy from customers and pedestrians walking in and around the stall is palpable, as the sister-duo thoughtfully craft expertly arranged flower bouquets with ease. We sat down with them to hear more about their journey and the day-to-day antics of the inner city.
