IT WAS JUST after the Milan Fashion Week highlight that I wrote about Loro Piana’s autumn/winter 2024 collection. I called the collection informally formal; a tribute to archetypal menswear with a fine-tuned balance of casual sophistication. Even after more than six months, I still find it a masterfully well-executed collection, and that is before the conversation about their exquisite textiles.
