With a panoramic city skyline and 6-metre-high ceilings, this penthouse promises the perfect setting for swanky dinner parties and stylish cocktail nights. But step inside, and you'll quickly realise that it's designed for far quieter pleasures.

“We're homebodies who like to keep things simple,” said Jack*. “Gaming, relaxing, and having proper conversations—those are the things we care about.”

The 32-year-old entrepreneur and his partner were sold the moment they saw the apartment's city view. And though it’s right in the thick of the action, it maintains a sense of seclusion. No nosy neighbours peeking in, thanks to the generous distance from nearby units.

But though the double-height ceiling made a statement, it also left a lot of wasted space. To reclaim the volume it consumed, they decided to build up, not out.

“The main challenge was increasing our usable space without losing too much of the verticality,” Jack explains. “We still wanted that airy, open feel.”
